My name is Michael Zhu and I have always been a creative puzzle solver, because complex challenges only made me more curious and motivated. Naturally, I apply the same mindset to my design process.

 

I see design as an intricate puzzle. I break problem down to smaller parts, generate multiple concepts and evaluate each of them to find the optimal solution. I compose design stories with fresh perspectives, and I craft strategies that offer unique values to all stakeholders. I believe that the combination of my patience, persistence, attention to detail in puzzle solving and all the design skills I learned from college will open the door to the most inventive path forward.
